Gujarat Maritime Board invites proposal for LNG terminal

Gujarat Maritime Board is planning to set up a LNG terminal along with Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FRSU) in Jafrabad in Amreli district of Gujarat. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 4100 million and will have a capacity of 10 mtpa. The project is likely to be awarded through Swiss challenge route and will be developed on public-private partnership basis. The board has invited request for proposals (RFQ) in September 2013.
