Mangalore Fisheries port to be developed at Rs.5670 million

A development plan for the Mangalore fisheries port with project cost estimated at Rs.5670 million had been sent to the centre for approval. Currently, the jetty at the fisheries is 603 meters could not accommodate 1500 different kind of boats and it needs to be extended by 502 meters southwards. Besides, this an additional jetty of 579 meters have to be developed in Bengre. These projects involve works related to dredging, levelling works, , radio communication tower, RCC box bridge, rainwater harvesting system etc,
