Mormugao Port

Vasco Bay to get business model from Mir Group


Mir Projects & Consultants, a Kochi based company has been awarded the consultancy contract for developing the Vasco Bay at Mormugao Port. The feasibility study for the port done at a cost of Rs.7210 million had been completed. Now, Mir Projects will develop a business model for port related activities. The project is to be developed on DBFOT basis and the developer is likely to be selected by an international bidding.

Mormugao Port to boost coal handling operations


Mormugao Port to improve coal handling capacities and has awarded a contract to Adani ‘s  of Mundra Port. Currently, the port has expertise in iron ore handling with increasing no. of thermal projects coming up in northern Karnataka. For more details click here
